Research Assistant Emily Powell presents data at the TARCC Scientific Symposium!

Her project is based on ongoing collaborations between Dr.Adam Bush and Dr.Clark and their CAPS pilot award.

Dr. Clark and colleagues win the INS Memory and Memory Disorders Research Award for the project!

MUNA Lab presents at GSA 2024!

Dr.Clark presented her talk "Evidence of psychological behavioral and cognitive fortitude to AD in racially/ethnically minoritized older adults" in the EPSO symposium at GSA.

She also presented "The effect of ethnic enclaves on cognition and everyday functioning and how this differs across neighborhood disadvantage" in the MCFAAD symposium.

MUNA lab will have several paper presentations at the INS meeting in February 2025!

Abbey Hamlin will be presenting her work titled, "Characterizing Novel Neighborhood Factors and Associations with Memory Outcomes in Adults Age 50+ Enrolled in the Health and Retirement Study."

Dr. Clark will discuss papers titled, "Tract- and County-Level Segregation Measures Differentially Impact 10-year Cognitive and Functional Outcomes of Black/African American Older Adults."

Dr. Clark will also be presenting work titled, ""Modifiable Individual-Level Factors, Military Experiences, and Risk of Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Dementias: Findings from the Million Veteran Program."

Abbey's paper "The Independent and Interactive Effects of Economic Stability and Health Care Access on 10-Year Cognitive Trajectories of Black/African American and White Older Adults" will be published in the the Journal of Gerontology and Psychological Sciences: Series B.

Dr. Clark published a new paper!

Dr. Clark's new paper titled, "Heterogeneity in cognitive profiles of monolingual and bilingual Hispanic/Latino older adults in HABS-HD" was accepted for publication in the Journal of International Neuropsychological Society! Congrats to our co-author and collaborator Dr. Stephanie Grasso as well!

Congrats to Dr. Clark, Abbey Hamlin, Nazareth Ortega, and Jordana Breton for the online publication of their chapter!

The chapter titled "Social and structural determinants of cognitive and brain aging outcomes in racially/ethnically minoritized older adults" was published online as a stand-alone chapter in the prestigious Reference Collection in Reference Module in Neuroscience and Biobehavioral Psychology.

Dr Clark presents, "The Impact of Segregation on Cognition and Everyday Functioning of Hispanic Older Adults Enrolled in HEPSE" at the San Antonio AAIC Advancements meeting. This work came is a byproduct of the May 2023 Michigan Center for Contextual Factors in Alzheimer’s Disease (MCCFAD) meeting.

Dr. Clark's paper title "Empirically Derived Psychosocial Phenotypes in Black/African American and Hispanic/Latino Older Adults Enrolled in HABS-HD: Associations with AD Biomarkers and Cognitive Outcomes" is accepted in A&D.

Dr. Clark was awarded the 2022-2023 Josh Holahan Department of Psychology Excellence in Teaching Award!
